Google Makes Paid Storage Plans Cheaper with “Google One” Upgrade

Just post its Annual Developer Conference I/O 2018, Google has come out with a new, low-cost storage plan called 'Google One' which is a revamped version of its Google Drive online storage subscription. The new Google One plan will start at 100GB for $1.99 which is the same price as Drive. However, under the new plan, an additional 200GB plan will be available for $2.99. Also, the current 1TB plan for $9.99 will also offer double space of up to 2TB. However, plans larger than 2TB will not be changed in terms of pricing. Coolpad has taken Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi to court over alleged patent infringement in the wake of times when Xiaomi has filed a US$10 billion IPO in Hong Kong.
