Internet.org, which is facebook's endeavor to make internet accessible to the world population and keeping it away from becoming a luxury, in its latest offering has launched, Aquila, a solar-powered aircraft, which provides internet access from the sky.
"It has the wingspan of a Boeing 737, but weighs less than a car and can stay in the air for months at a time", said Mark Zuckerberg, CEO, Facebook, in his latest post on Facebook.
Zuckerberg also stated that the technology used by the aircraft, laser communications, to make internet accessible, was a breakthrough in itself.
