The buzz that Google Inc may move back to the Chinese mainland became louder this week after the Internet giant's numerous job postings appeared on social media. On professionals' online network Linkedin alone, Google advertised as many as 60 jobs in Beijing and Shanghai, state- run China Daily reported today. That's up from 8.25 billion a year ago. In total last year, users watched 42.5 billion streaming hours of Netflix. Hastings attributes the rise in viewing to several factors. For one thing, he said, internet speeds are getting faster and faster, which makes it easier to stream video. And devices are getting smarter, cheaper, and more widely adopted. Reuters: Twitter Inc is building a new feature that will allow users to post tweets as long as 10,000 characters, well beyond its current 140-character limit, technology news website Re/code reported on Tuesday. An expansion of the limit to 10,000 characters would allow a tweet of more than 1,000 words with spaces between words and punctuation.
