Adcom To Sue Ringing Bells

Domestic feature phone brand Advantage Computers' (Adcom) has said it may consider a legal action against Ringing Bells, the Noida-based start-up, which claimed to manufacture the world's cheapest smartphone. Adcom founder and chairman Sanjeev Bhatia said the manufacturer of Rs. 251 (less than USD 4) smartphone, distributed the Adcom handsets to the media during the launch last month. "We are deeply grieved by this incident where our mobile phone has been presented to masses for Rs.251, and therefore, would not hesitate from taking any legal actions against the company, in case the entire fiasco impacts Adcom's brand name or subsequently we face any other kind of losses," Bhatia said in a statement. OLA and Uber Launched Bike Taxi Services in Bengaluru

Taxi service providers in India, Ola and Uber have launched Bike Taxi services in Bengaluru on the same day. The minimum fare of UberMoto starting at Rs. 15 and Rs. 30 for Ola Bikes. Starting fare of Ola bikes are Rs. 2 per km and Re. 1 per minute of trip time. While UberMoto price will be Rs. 3 per kilometre, and Rs. 1 per minute of trip time. A German court has fined a social networking giant Facebook for refusing to follow an order of adequately informing users about how it was using their intellectual property. The court fined Facebook 100,000 euros (USD109,000). A spokesperson for Facebook, however, said that the problem was with the timing rather than the message. The California-based tech company beared some responsibility for the crash in an official statement. Alibaba Group Holding Ltd said on Monday Chairman Jack Ma and Vice Chairman Joe Tsai have agreed to buy back a combined $500 million in company shares, part of a $4 billion stock repurchase scheme announced in August.
