Myntra’s ‘End of Reason Sale’ Clocks 2 Million Product Orders on Day 1

India's biggest fashion shopping sale, the fourth edition of Myntra's 'End of Reason sale', clocked over two million item orders placed by end of day one of the two-day weekend sale. In the run up to the opening of the sale at 12 am on Saturday, around Rs. 700 crore worth of products were added to the EORS wish list (A special feature offered for EORS-4). Telecom regulator Trai announced today the launch of a mobile application that will help the user to measure his/her internet speed on their smartphones and send results to the authority. "The MySpeed App, which could be downloaded from the mobile sewa app store, allows users to measure their data speed experience and send the results to this (Trai Analytics Portal)," the Telecom Regulatory Authority said in a statement. Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi today said it is not seeking exemption from Indian government to fulfil the 30 per cent local sourcing norm, as it already makes 75 per cent of devices locally that are sold in India. Apartment-sharing startup Airbnb is in talks for a new round of funding that would value the company at $30 billion, a source close to the company said on Tuesday. Airbnb intends to use the financing to support new investments and growth opportunities, the source added.
