Ready-to-Eat Food Brand Yumlane Partners with Swiggy to Deliver all Over India

The on-the-go hot snacking service Yumlane has collaborated with the emerging foodtech giant Swiggy for the purpose of the delivery of its food products all across the country.

At present, the pilot is working only across limited locations in Mumbai. The orders for Yumlane are made on the Swiggy app and then picked and delivered to the customer.

Yumlane is a Mumbai-based company which is ready to eat packaged food brand owned and operated by FMCG startup QwikPik Technology. The partnership with Swiggy so far has been favourable for the company, and thus, Yumlane is looking forward to expanding its partnership in all the other cities as well.

“This is a huge key account channel for Yumlane as Pizza is amongst the top 3 preferred cuisines for customers on Swiggy. We are targeting a run rate of 1 million orders per month through this partnership over the next 6-9 months,” said Hitesh Ahuja, Founder and CEO of Yumlane.

The food startup has an aim of achieving a considerable growth volume with a target of creating 10% of Swiggy’s overall order volume over the next 6-9 months.

With this partnership, Yumlane is expecting to be available across over 200 pick-up points.

Talking about Swiggy, at present, the company delivers around 15 million orders per month across India. It was also reported earlier that Swiggy is expecting to launch its hyperlocal delivery operations by October. With a rapid growth in the food delivery business, Swiggy is gaining more and more attraction these days and is gearing up to come up as the leader in the food delivery market.
