OYO Rooms Launches its Membership Programme OYO Wizard

The budget hotel chain OYO has announced that they have launched a new membership programme known as the OYO Wizard. This programme is basically designed to recognize and reward frequent customers.

With this move, OYO aims to deepen and strengthen customer relationships by offering highly-rated and curated hotels to loyal customers at the best price. The company also stated that Wizard is a benefit membership programme which comes with unique benefits that include guaranteed discounts, upgrades and other benefits.

Maninder Gulati, chief of strategy, OYO, stated, “OYO Wizard will enable us to take the OYO experience a step further by making it possible for us to engage with customers in a more personal and meaningful manner. We believe that this initiative is an important milestone in our efforts to streamline our customer offerings across our global hospitality network.”

“OYO’s approach to hospitality – diverse brand portfolio, the maintenance of quality across properties, great design, thoughtful amenities – is why guests love us and have chosen OYO as their preferred accommodation across geographies. With 95% of our revenue coming from repeat and organic customers, we knew it was time to give back,” he added.

Wizard, at present, is available at an early-bird membership fee of Rs 99 only. Under the membership, the customers will be able to enjoy 5% instant discount on current booking and instant rewards in the form of OYO Money.

Along with this, with super OYO benefits, the members will also get a 10% discount on their next stay at the same OYO hotel, whereas they also have the option to avail 5% discount across all other partner hotels.

All these offers will be available across OYO’s diverse spaces such as OYO Rooms, OYO Townhouse, OYO Home, SilverKey, Capital O and Edition O. All these benefits are soon expected to be intorduced to OYO hotels in international destinations like China, Malaysia and Nepal as well.

OYO has been taking various steps towards the increase of its customer base and expansion and this move will further help OYO to get more customers and also build people’s trust on the company.
