Google Vs Oracle: Oracle Revealed Google's Android Revenue Secret

Google's Android operating system has generated revenue of about $31 billion and profit of $22 billion since its release, an Oracle Corp lawyer told a U.S. court hearing the software company's copyright lawsuit against Google. A lawyer for Google did not discuss the figure, according to a transcript of the hearing in a Northern California federal court last week. But he said the Alphabet Inc unit might be willing to disclose more information about the revenue produced by Android as part of the court proceedings. Tinystep, a parenting social network, today said it has raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from Flipkart. The Bengaluru-based startup plans to use the funds to develop the product, enhance user experience and strengthen its team, Tinystep said in a statement. Slamming the campaign, the regulator body reached out to the supporters of Free Basics pointing towards the fact that the campaign supporters does not answer questions raised by TRAI in the consultation paper. TRAI has invited more comments on the consultation paper on 'Differential Pricing for Data Services' extending the deadline for views to January 7. Mumbai, Jan 4 (PTI) Revenues from Indian Film industry, Bollywood, are likely to cross Rs 19,300 crore by next fiscal, owing to aggressive marketing campaigns, growing contribution from overseas markets and improved quality of movies, says a study. The current estimated size of Bollywood is about Rs 15,500 crore.
