Aramco could delay IPO after Drone Attacks

New York, Sept 16 (AFP)- Saudi authorities are considering whether to delay an IPO for oil giant Aramco after this weekend's attack on its oil facilities shut down much of its production, people with knowledge of the matter said.  "They're in the process of assessing the damage. It's a possibility but it's still very early," said one of the persons who spoke on condition of anonymity. Aramco had planned to debut in November on a local stock market before listing on an international one next year, sources had told AFP last week. The IPO could be the largest ever, with the company's valuation poised to top USD 1 trillion. As per the latest update, India's leading payments app Paytm is in discussions to buy stakes in Yes Bank from co-founder Rana Kapoor. The sources, privy to the discussions, said Kapoor has held preliminary discussions with Paytm. They said the structure of the deal would depend on the approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), given that Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma already owns stake in Paytm Payments Bank. Rapido Raises $54 Million funding From Westbridge & others

Bike-taxi firm Rapido has raised over $54.48 million (around Rs 390 crore) in a new round of funding with participation from Westbridge and Nexus Ventures. Led by Westbridge, the round also saw participation from Bace Fund, Astrend India Investment and Sabre Investment, as per regulatory documents filed by Roppen Transportation Services (which operates Rapido) with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
