Zodius Capital raises stake in Zivame upto 45% : Kalaari and IDG exit

Zodius capital, a tech-oriented investment firm has elevated its stake in Zivame, which is a lingerie retailer by purchasing shares of the early backers of the lingerie startup named Kalaari Capital and IDG Ventures that invested in Zivame in early 2012. According to the reports, the funding agency now controls almost 45% in Zivame. It now has three of the six board seats in Zivame though it has not filled any of the two additional seats. 21 PSBs Witness Loss of Rs. 25,775 Cr due to Bank Frauds in FY 2018

Twenty-one government banks have witnessed a big loss which amounted to Rs. 25,775 crore due to frauds in the banking sector during the financial year 2017-18. The highest amount of loss has been incurred by Punjab National Bank (PNB) totaling Rs 6461.13 crore during the fiscal that ended on the 31st March this year. This was told by Chandrasekhar Gaud to the Press Trust of India, who had filed the RTI with the Reserve Bank of India. The reply which was sent to him did not mention any details regarding any particular case of banking fraud. Cobrapost Sting Accuses Paytm for Sharing Data with PMO

Cobrapost news portal conducted a sting operation and it claimed the digital wallet firm, Paytm has breached the user’s privacy by sharing user data related to the details of the protestors in the Kashmir Valley with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on receiving orders from them. In the 13 minutes long video, the cobrapost has exposed the senior Paytm members (Sudhanshu Gupta, Vice President; Ajay Shekhar Sharma, Sr. Vice President of Paytm) accepting that they have shared data with PMO after they got a call.
