The company has acquired the POS platform in mixed cash and equity deal and has valued the company at Rs 33 crores, with the intent to creating a long-term association and value for its partner retailers. OLA and Uber Launched Bike Taxi Services in Bengaluru

Taxi service providers in India, Ola and Uber have launched Bike Taxi services in Bengaluru on the same day. The minimum fare of UberMoto starting at Rs. 15 and Rs. 30 for Ola Bikes. Starting fare of Ola bikes are Rs. 2 per km and Re. 1 per minute of trip time. While UberMoto price will be Rs. 3 per kilometre, and Rs. 1 per minute of trip time. Technology giant Google has acknowledged that it's self-driving car struck a public bus in California during a test drive. The California-based tech company beared some responsibility for the crash in an official statement. "We clearly bear some responsibility, because if our car hadn't moved, there wouldn't have been a collision. That said, our test driver believed the bus was going to slow or stop to allow us to merge into the traffic, and that there would be sufficient space to do that," Google said in a statement. Stand Up India Scheme Allocates Rs.500 Crore For SC ST and Women

New Delhi, Feb.29: Sharing his nine pillars for what he called a transformational budget for fiscal 2016-17, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Monday announced that under the Stand-Up India scheme, a sum of Rs.500 crores has been allocated to people belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SC and ST) and women entrepreneurs. The Indian Railways is fulfilling its social obligations towards Divyang, senior citizens and women travellers, Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said on Thursday while presenting the rail budget in the Lok Sabha. Prabhu said that for Divyang (differently-abled), the railways have introduced one-time registration for availing concessions while booking tickets online, online booking of wheelchairs and Braille-enabled new coaches.
