Hyderabad based IT services firm Cambridge Technology has invested Rs 8 crore ($1.3 million) in US-based automated photo-sharing platform PhotoKarma. Idealab, Bessemer and New York Angels are also participated in this investment round. Before this investment Cambridge Tech has also invested in MyCrowd, a crowd-testing platform for website and mobile applications. The investments is aim to create a potential market for CTE's solutions on big data analytics and cloud services. Gurgaon-based Shuttl, a bus-aggregator company claims to hit another milestone by, reaching its one millionth completed rides across Delhi-NCR in only 194 days of its operations. From being an intra-city to a pan Delhi-NCR public transit service, Shuttl has seen massive transformation. Shuttl has also been able to save Rs 5.10 mn per day in fuel cost for commuters, has kept 4,727 vehicles off the road daily and saved 53,460 tonnes carbon emissions till date during all it operational days. Steve Zadesky, who has been overseeing the Apple's electric car project for the last two years, has said he is leaving the company, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter. Zadesky, who previously worked with the iPod and iPhone teams, is leaving for personal reasons not related to his performance, the WSJ said. It was not clear when the 16-year veteran would leave Apple, the Journal said. As of Friday afternoon his profile on LinkedIn still listed him as working at Apple. A mobile-based services marketplace, Urbanclap has acquired HandyHome, after sales service platform in an equity deal. New Delhi :- Home-grown Hike Messenger today said it has crossed the 100-million user mark. “Crossing 100 million users is a milestone for us and we have achieved this well ahead of our expectations,” Hike Messenger Founder and CEO Kavin Bharti Mittal said in a statement.
