Tata Led Starbucks Launched Teavana Speciality Teas

Global coffeehouse chain Starbucks introduced tea as a core offering in 88 stores in the country under the brand Teavana. "We had nine teas on offer and are doubling that with the launch of Teavana speciality teas. We are looking at attracting newer customers with our focus on tea, and are looking to double tea sales at our Starbucks stores," Sumitro Ghosh, CEO of Tata Starbucks, told Pixr8. Adventz Group Declined To Acquire Paytm stake, Sunil Munjal Still in Race

Saroj Poddar-controlled Adventz group today said it was approached for buying a minority stake in Paytm, but has decided against it. If the deal were successfully performed then it will reportedly value the Vijay Shekhar Sharma-led firm at about USD 5-5.6 billion, an increase from USD 4.8 billion valuations in August 2016. "We were approached by a few merchant bankers for a minority stake in Paytm. But we have decided not to go ahead with it," a top official of the group told Pixr8 today. Private equity firm Everstone Group has invested USD 35 million in city-based nutraceutical company - OmniActive Health Technologies. "The investment of USD 35 million by Everstone will further accelerate the growth of OmniActive in the fast-expanding nutraceuticals space," the firms said a joint statement issued here today. The deal is Everstones third in the healthcare and wellness sector in less than a year, it said. The BBC Worldwide Service today said its plan to launch services in 11 new languages, four of them Indian - Marathi, Telugu, Gujarati and Punjabi - was progressing well and they would be operational by mid-2017. The services in the four Indian languages, which will focus on radio, mobile and video content, will create 157 new jobs, the London-headquartered broadcaster said.
