Samsung starts all Smartwatches Manufacturing in India

New Delhi, July 9, 2020: Tech company Samsung has said that they started manufacturing smartwatches in India at its Noida facility as part of its ''Make in India'' efforts. The South Korean company, which has its largest smartphone manufacturing facility in Noida, has also launched a new 4G-enabled smartwatch priced at $379 (Rs 28,490) that will be manufactured locally. "The Aluminium edition of Galaxy Watch Active2 4G is our most affordable 4G watch now. It's also the first smartwatch to be made in India. Haier to Invest Around Rs 3k Crore in New Manufacturing Units

The consumer electronics and home appliances company Haier has reportedly planned to invest Rs 3,069 crore for setting up fresh manufacturing units at an industrial township in Greater Noida, UP. The company also stated that is expected to generate direct employment for around 3,950 people with this programme as stated by the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC). They have been given 123.7 acres of land for this purpose in the DMIC Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida (IITGN). All these manufacturing units will be built in the mentioned area. NEW DELHI: Gurgaon-based Baxi will start services in Noida and Ghaziabad in the next few weeks as it expands operations and tap into the booming on-demand motorbike taxi segment. The company, which offers about 3,000 rides a day, is operational in Gurgaon and Faridabad in Haryana. "Before commencing operations in Gurgaon, we met the authorities and after certain changes were brought in, making motorbike taxis legitimate, we started operations there. Amazon.com has acquire EMVANTAGE Payments Pvt Ltd, a Noida-based online payment solutions provider for an undisclosed amount. Srinivas Rao, director of Amazon Payments India said in a press release "EMVANTAGE is a valuable addition to our team as we accelerate our payment offerings, ensuring the best in class online payment experience anywhere that customers shop with us,” As part of the deal, EMVANTAGE's team will join Amazon's payments team to develop solutions tailored for the Indian market.
