“Call of Duty” hits 100 million downloads in its first week of launch, beating downloads debut of "Fortnite” and PUBG games. According to the data, PUBG, Fortnite and Electronic Arts’ “Apex Legends” download 26.3 million, 22.5 million and 25 million times respectively in their first week of release. This is the largest mobile game launch in history in terms of the total player base in the first week. Indian Teenager dies after playing PUBG game on cellphone

A 16-year-old Indian boy died of cardiac arrest allegedly while playing PUBG battle game on his mobile phone for six hours at a stretch here in Madhya Pradesh. The deceased was identified as Furkan Qureshi, a Class 12 student. The incident took place on May 28 when Furkan Qureshi and his family, settled at Nasirabad in Rajasthan, had come to Neemuch to attend a marriage, the teenager's father, Haroon Rasheed Qureshi, said. Police said they have not been informed about the boy's death by his family and hence not launching a probe as of now. Angry Birds Maker Rovio Says IPO Possible in Future Amid Acquisition Rumors

Finnish mobile game and animation studio Rovio, maker of the Angry Birds game, said it could list on the stock exchange in the future, while declining comment on a media report that China's Tencent Holdings was looking to acquire the company. Technology news site The Information, citing unnamed sources, reported that Tencent was exploring a possible $3 billion bid for Rovio and also said Rovio may consider an IPO.
