iPhone maker Apple has acquired San Francisco-based Fleetsmith to improve business's Mac and iPad devices. Fleetsmith automates device setup, intelligence, patching, and security, for your company's Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Apple TVs. The acquisition by Apple into the mobile device management industry, a category of business software dominated by players such as Microsoft Corp and VMware Inc. Fleetsmith announced the acquisition deal in a blog post. The deal size has not been disclosed. Microsoft To Launch a Smaller Low Cost Tablet to Rival iPad

Technology giant Microsoft is gearing up to launch a new line of low-cost Surface tablets that could go head to head with Apple's famous line of tablets, the iPads. Reported First by Bloomberg, the company's smaller low-cost Surface tablets could arrive as soon as second half of 2018. The new range will sport a 10-inch screen size, smaller than the current Surface Pro laptop line which features a screen size of 12-inches. Apple Firmly On Course For $1 Trillion Valuation: Analysts

Apple Inc’s shares rose to a record high on Friday as more analysts set a trillion-dollar valuation on the company, following a blowout fourth quarter and an upbeat forecast that quashed investor concerns around the iPhone X. The stock rose as much as 3.7 percent to $174.26, briefly breaching $900 billion in market value, amid declines in the broader market. The gains added nearly $32 billion to the company’s market capitalization.
