Google India’s Sales Hits Billion Dollar This Year

These figures shows a jump of over 22.1% from the previous year's Rs 5,904 crore. Sales has witnessed an expansion of 44% this fiscal as per the report by TOI. ITC to Sell Entire Stake in US Subsidiary For $24 Million

Diversified group ITC will sell its entire stake in US-based wholly owned subsidiary 'King Maker Marketing' for USD 24 million (about Rs 160 crore). King Maker Marketing, registered in the state of New Jersey, USA, is engaged in the distribution of ITC manufactured cigarette products in the US market. The Corporate Management Committee has approved divestment of company's entire shareholding in King Maker Marketing, Inc, USA, a wholly owned subsidiary, along with assignment of certain trademarks owned by the company," ITC said in a BSE filing. Big Blow For Aamir Khan, Snapdeal Will Not Renew The Contract as a Brand Ambassador

As per the report, Snapdeal one of India's biggest e-commerce company has decided not to renew Bollywood star Aamir Khan's contract as brand ambassador of the ecommerce company. The one-year endorsement deal ends later this month. Snapdeal may not replace Khan with another celebrity as it looks to rationalise ad expenditure and focus instead on repeat customers, enhancing categories and trying to encourage buyers to shop through its FreeCharge wallet. Facebook now makes 78 percent of its ad revenue on mobile

It wasn’t that many years ago that Facebook had its aha moment — when it realized that mobile was the way forward for advertising. Flash forward to today, and mobile advertising makes up 78 percent of the social network’s total advertising revenue. Advertising makes up almost all of Facebook’s income. The mobile advertising revenue represents a 73 percent uptick from last year’s third quarter. However, revenue from ads served on personal computers was down 7 percent from last year.
